In pursuit of creating Transition Super-Labs, the cooperation of key stakeholders within regions emerges as a vital cornerstone. A prime example of this collaborative approach unfolded during the second TRANSFORMER stakeholders workshop, organised by ANKO Western Macedonia S.A. Organization for Local Development and Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) and took place on 7 June 2023, in Western Macedonia, Greece. The workshop clearly demonstrated our partners’ commitment to prioritise citizen engagement.
The active participation of the Western Macedonia stakeholders and their continuous engagement paved the way for the implementation of the first Greek Transition Super-Lab and the development of quick wins and cross-sectorial emblematic projects that will accelerate the transition of Western Macedonia towards climate neutrality.
